Brasil

FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to all nationalities to work in a Brasilian institution in the State of São Paulo in any discipline (<7yr post-PhD). Two years of funding (+1 year extension possible; salary R$ 6,143/month + research expenses 15% of fellowship  annual value).

Science without Borders Young Talents Fellowships

Open to all nationalities to work in a Brasilian institution in priority areas of Science without Borders (see website). One to three years of funding (salary R$ 4,100/month + research expenses R$ 10,000/yr).

TWAS-CNPq Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to citizens of developing countries (other than Brasil) and employed in their home country, to work in a Brasilian institution in natural sciences (<5yr post-PhD). Six months to one year of funding (salary only).

Mexico

Mexican Government Scholarships for International Students

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to citizens of partner countries (see list on website) to work in Mexico in . One year of funding (salary only $681.9/month).
Open to citizens of developing countries (other than Mexico) and employed in their home country, to work in a Mexican institution in natural sciences (<5yr post-PhD). Six months to one year of funding (salary only).

UC MEXUS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to PhDs from a UC campus to work in Mexico or to Mexican PhDs to work in a UC campus. The goal of these fellowships is to foster collaboration between Mexican and UC institutions, and projects are encouraged to follow the collaborative program. One year of funding (salary only >$43,000/yr).
